![]() to see if the Dilly Dilly Knights of the Roundtable exists over there. Another a "crybaby".I don't care who you are and how much reef knowledge you have, you shouldn't treat people that way by disrespecting them One poster went as far as to call me a "pansy".another one an "irresponsible adult". I do recall 4-6 times RC vets throwing punches at me for voicing my opinion. I don't ever recall flat out disrespecting someone else unless they threw the first jab/punch. I've been hanging around RC for 2mos (?). Maybe RC vets should treat newcomers with a little more respect and kindnessĮvery man who posts wants respect even if their answers might be a skewed a little. Sorry your results were not as positive with their product as mine. Yes Red Sea relied on ICP testing themselves in determining the quantities of chemicals they included in their colors program and while not perfect, ICP testing is the best methodology currently available. Having had conversations with the chemist at Red Sea who developed their Colors Program I can assure you the product is not snake oil. It's all the old stiffs that know it all and post like it and no one else experience is valid.Īpologizes on my part for my less than tactful reply, I let your "snake oil" jab get to me. I'm just sharing my experience which apparently because I dpn't have a huge tank and 50 years experience is not valid in your eyes. But hey, if you want to keep throwing unknown stuff into your tank, then by all means have at it. I personally feel a lot of Red Sea stuff is quite a bit of placebo effect. And my ICP test show the exact same amount of trace elements before and a year after(eveything in range with the exception of elevated aluminum which was attributed to marine pure) Also we all know there are issues with the methods and subsequent results of ICP tests. I ran it for a year and did not notice any difference. Yes I'm speaking from my own personal experience. Talk about "heard it thru the grapevine" trickle down effect.įrustrating when I ask a question that leads to posters.not answering the question.but judging you by saying, " why are you doing bkahblahblah?.bc I know for a fact, blah blah blah" when in reality its only smthg they have formed an opinion on or heard secondhand thru other resources ![]() Im frustrated with RC bc many 1,000+ posters read a comment that a 5,000 poster heard a 10,000 poster say. I'm not perfect and sure I've said stuff off the cuff. I try not to comment unless I personally experienced smthg and not just guess at what I've read someone else say. Too much advice based on "opinions" on RC and not based on user experience. I have run ICP tests and all my trace elements are in range (except my Strontium which was a little low). When we have been away on vacation for a couple of weeks and I haven't used their product the corals are noticeably less colorful, but recover in a few weeks of renewed testing. Really, you know this from your vast experience or was it just something that was written on a bathroom wall? I've used the Red Sea Colors for over two years now and I an certain my SPS coral color is better for doing so. ![]()
